Claudia Neumeier, born in 1994, grew up in a village in the district of Cham. After studying chemistry in Halle (Saale), she began a traineeship at Deutschlandradio. The freelance journalist works for Deutschlandradio, mainly on scientific topics, e.g. as an author and presenter of the Dlf program “Forschung aktuell”. In 2024, she was awarded the Journalism Prize of the German Nutrition Society.
