After graduating from high school in Halle (Saale), Tobias Bohnhardt studied physics and mathematics at the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. Since 2010 he has been employed at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) which enabled him to turn his interests in manned and unmanned spaceflight into his profession. In addition to his current Ph.D.-studies on out-of-school learning places he works at DLR_School_Lab Berlin - one of DLR's 13 student laboratories. Whether it is in the DLR_School_Lab, at special events such as trade fairs, congresses or as a moderator of science shows, Tobias has been inspiring thousands of people with the topic of space and space exploration. Always focused on making science communication tangible and easier to understand.
