Tobi Schmid is working as a doctoral researcher at the Faculty of Information Technology and Communication Sciences at Tampere University. His dissertation focuses on the visual transformation of health on platform services and mobile devices. He works as a moderator for konnektiv hosting events around the digital transformation.
Tobi studied Art and Visual History as well as Philosophy at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Aside from his work at the University of Tampere he currently serves as a researcher in an EU Chanse funded project on Trust and Visuality with project leaders Katrin Tiidenberg (Tallinn), Asko Lehmuskallio (Tampere), Maria Schreiber (Salzburg) and Gillian Rose (Oxford).
