Susanne Beck studied law in Wuerzburg, Sydney and London and has worked at different universities in China and Germany, such as Wuerzburg, Cologne and Hanover. She has concerned herself with
robotics and law, especially the responsibility diffusion caused by AI, in different projects for over a decade and is, as expert for government and legislator, campaigning for responsible development of
the technology which puts the human first.
She is Professor for Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure Law, Comparative Law and Law Philosophy at the University Hanover since 2013, and member of the Working Group "IT Security, Privacy, Legal and Ethical Framework“ of the Plattform Lernende Systeme.
