At Freie Universität Berlin, Prof. Dr. Lena Noack researches global planetary processes on Earth-like planets - especially outside the solar system. Of the more than 5,000 planets already found around our neighboring stars, she is using numerical models based on the available observational data to try to identify precisely those planets that might be most suitable for life as we know it from Earth. To that end, she recently secured a major research project from the prestigious European Research Council (ERC).
She is looking forward to sharing her enthusiasm for space at the SILBERSALZ Festival.
