Kathrin Karola Viergutz is a project manager at the Institute of Transportation Systems at the German Aerospace Center (DLR), where she develops sustainable mobility concepts that can be used easily and conveniently by everyone and are sustainable at the same time.
The focus of her research is on digitalised and automated transport systems - from rural areas to metropolises, from Saxony-Anhalt to EU projects. In addition, as a smart city consultant, she advises municipalities on the way to a future-proof, sustainable and people-friendly city.
