Jonathan Everts is Professor of Human Geography at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. Since completing his doctorate, he has been working on theories of social practices in the fields of consumer geography, migration research and human-environment relations, among others. Everts is particularly interested in the fundamental social changes brought about by structural transformation, such as the renegotiation of values and the organization of lifestyles and practices.
