Emma Waltersbacher is a student assistant at Wissenschaft im Dialog. She studied sociology as well as politics and administration at the University of Potsdam and is currently writing her master's thesis on the topic of poverty among the elderly at the Humboldt University in Berlin. In addition to her studies, she runs a language café in Neukölln that offers low-threshold German courses for refugees.
