Dimitri Ravin is initiator and editor of the information portal "Urban Digital" and has a background in urban planning. He has been dealing with the impact of digitalization on German cities as a speaker, moderator and consultant since 2017. He also conducts research at the German Institute of Urban Affairs (difu) on the importance of data and platforms in urban development. Previously, he studied the smart city strategies of major German cities at the Institute for the Public Sector (KPMG) and worked as a project assistant for digital projects at the city of Dortmund.
