Claus U. Eckert, study of geography and politics as well as television journalism at the Bavarian Academy of Television. Lives and works for 20 years in Munich with a focus on portrait films and sociocritical topics, ia. for ZDF 37 degrees. For 5 years Claus U. Eckert has mainly been producing long science documentaries for 3sat and arte like "Loss of the Night" or "Müll-Meister Deutschland". In his time as a TV author, more than 50 reportages and documentaries have been created for VOX, ZDF, 3sat, arte and Deutsche Welle.
