Clarissa Correâ da Silva was born in Berlin in 1990 to a Brazilian mother and an Israeli father and grew up in Germany and Brazil.
She holds a bachelor's degree in communication studies and a master's degree in media management.
Since 2018, she has hosted the program "Wissen macht Ah! " (WDR). In the same year, she also joined the family of "Die Sendung mit der Maus" (The program with the mouse, WDR).
She loves to travel - not only around the world, but also into the past. That's why she has been a time traveler in her own history format "Triff..." on KiKA since 2019. Since 2022, she has hosted the ARD documentary "Märchenreise" (Fairy Tale Journey), the MDR reportage series "3 Blocks" and the KIKA show "Die beste Klasse Deutschlands" (The best class in Germany). In 2022, she hosted the five-part reportage series "Mein schönster Sommer" (My best summer).
In 2023, her book "My Wonderful Self - What Makes Me Me and the Role Genes Play" was published by Penguin Random House. It is the first book on epigenetics for children.
She has received numerous awards and nominations. In 2023 she was nominated for the Stuttgart Moderation Award, in 2020 and 2023 she was awarded the " Goldener Spatz“ (Golden Sparrow) and in 2019 she won the Children's Media Award "Der weiße Elefant" (The White Elephant) in the category "Best TV Moderation".
Clarissa speaks fluent German, Portuguese and English.
