Christopher Resch is a press officer in the Berlin team of the international human rights organization Reporters Without Borders (RSF) with a focus on the Middle East (MENA). He studied journalism and Arabic studies in Leipzig and Istanbul and then worked for the Goethe Institute in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. He is the editor of the anthology “Medienfreiheit in Ägypten” (von Halem Verlag, 2015). Before joining RSF, he worked as a freelance journalist on MENA issues for taz, Deutsche Welle, Deutschlandfunk and other media since 2014. Since 2018, he has also worked as a freelance speaker on Islam and refugees.
