Christian Schliemann-Radbruch is a qualified lawyer and Senior Legal Advisor at the European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights (ECCHR) where he works in the Business and Human Rights program. After his law studies in Berlin and Strasbourg, he worked as a research fellow and completed his PhD at the Freie Universität Berlin, focusing, among other topics, on the rules of public international law for business operations of transnational corporations in weak and failing states. At ECCHR he accompanies legal interventions by communities and individuals negatively affected by corporate activities, often in transnational constellations. He concentrates in particular on agribusiness and highly hazardous pesticides, the export of arms and military equipment, supply chain liability as well as international investment law’s impacts on human rights.
