Caroline is a professional teacher with 8 years teaching experience in Biology and Chemistry and currently a trainer with Digital Education Africa Network (DEAN) specializing in training teachers on digital literacy skills and STEM education in the classroom. 

She holds a Bachelor of Education degree in Science with specialization in Biology and Chemistry from Kenyatta University, Kenya and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Education from Liverpool John Moore’s University in the United Kingdom. 

Caroline is also the founder and CEO of Women in STEAM initiative, an innovative educational organization that seeks to empower, educate and engage girls and young women to take up STEM for economic development and empowerment. She is also the Vice President of Wi-STEM Africa, a Pan African organization that brings together female STEM enthusiasts and mentors from across Africa.  Caroline also heads the African Women’s Network in STEAM of the Alliance STEAM Afrika Education (ASAE) which has its headquarters in Spain. Caroline is a mother of 3 adorable humans, 2 boys and a girl and she loves spending time with her family, cooking and shopping.
