Andrea Perino is an ecologist at the German Centre of Integrative Biodiversity Research (iDiv) in Leipzig. In her PhD research, she studied how promoting certain ecosystem processes impacts the functionality of ecosystems. She also did camera trapping projects in Portugal to investigate interactions among feral and domestic ungulates in abandoned agricultural landscapes.
