Alexandros Merkouris is a freelance filmmaker based in Athens.
Recent projects include short and mid-length documentaries exploring food, architecture and travel for the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, the John S. Latsis Foundation, Monocle magazine, the Trans Adriatic Pipeline, Alpine Review and BBC Storyworks. He has recently directed the landmark historical 7-part series “Disasters & Triumphs” for SKAI TV Greece.
The “Perfect Meal” is his first long-form documentary.
