Green, blue, purple and red: The bright colors of a Northern Lights, scientifically called "Aurora borealis", usually only appear in polar regions. Depending on the weather conditions, the northern lights will sometimes move faster, sometimes slower and sometimes shine paler, sometimes stronger.
