Life without colors? Hardly imaginable, neither for us humans nor for numerous animal and plant species. Starting with green and red, colors have significantly shaped our evolution. shaped our evolution. Colors influence almost all life on earth. And even our decisions. Where does the power of colors come from and how do we manage to use it for ourselves? The extent to which colors control us can already be seen in everyday life: for example, you often feel warmer dressed in a red down jacket than in the same blue jacket, reports fashion designer Jean-Gabriel Causse, who specializes in the effect of colors. The fact that the color of a room alone can improve our concentration, creativity, even our health is another indication of the power of colors.
Colors control our attention, they affect our senses and thus shape - consciously or unconsciously - our perception of the world. For the neurobiologist Annette Werner, it is

Made to Measure is an experiment: can you recreate a person based solely on their online traces? Create a duplicate from someone you don't know? Recreate a person's life down to the last detail, act it out and film it, copy their personality? 
That's exactly what we tried to do! In the summer of 2020, we called on people through social media spots in several languages to ask Google and Facebook to hand over their personal data and to give it to us. personal data and to provide us with this data anonymously. More than 100 people from all over Europe responded to this call. We selected a data set documenting 5 years of a person's life. Because it would have been far too easy to combine the data that Google, Facebook and other data brokers collected on this person, we limited ourselves to Google's data on the person, which the company is required to give out, according to EU law. 
More than 100,000 data points the company had accumulated about the person over the 5 years.
